Steve FeltonSteve Felton has been a practicing attorney since 2002 and has worked at Robert D. Lattas & Associates since 2007. Steve attended Allegheny College and graduated in 1999 with a BA in Political Science and received a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA in 2002. During his time in Law School, Steve clerked for an insurance defense litigation firm that specialized in asbestos litigation. Prior to moving to Chicago, Steve worked as a general practitioner in Pennsylvania. His practice in Pennsylvania focused on residential real estate transactions, family law, Chapter 7 bankruptcy and estates and trusts. During his time with Robert D. Lattas & Associates, Steve has specialized in residential real estate transaction, including everything from representing first time home buyers to savvy real estate investors, negotiating short sales and representing purchasers of REO properties. Steve is currently licensed to practice law in the states of Pennsylvania and Illinois. Aaron MinkusAaron Minkus graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 2008. He has been with our law office since the spring of 2007 with several years experience in completing Real Estate Transactions all over Chicagoland. Aaron has worked with some of the most active real estate attorneys in Chicago. Aaron is our coordinator of short sale transactions and a negotiator with financial institutions. He prides himself on his customer service and making sure all phases of a transaction are organized and on time. Born in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and currently residing in Lakeview, Aaron graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan where he was a Founding Father and Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He is a member of Jewish United Fund-Young Lawyer’s Division and the Chicago Bar Association.
George LattasLauren LevinsteinLauren Levinstein graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2004 and received a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2008. While in law school, Lauren clerked for a civil litigation firm, served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Sports Law & Contemporary Problems and President of the Decalogue Society. Prior to law school, Lauren worked as District Representative for then Congressman Mark Kirk and has volunteered her time on every subsequent campaign. Lauren’s real estate practice focuses on short sale transactions. She utilizes a keen attention to detail to deftly negotiate with financial institutions. She aims to provide the smoothest transaction possible for her clients. Lauren is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Jewish United Fund’s Young Lawyer’s Division. Pamela G. VisvardisPamela Visvardis is a practicing attorney since 2011 and began practicing real estate law with Lattas, Felton, and Minkus in March of 2013. Pamela graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008. She then went on to attend DePaul University’s College of Law, where received by Juris Doctor in 2011. Throughout law school she clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorneys Office and Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of the Chief Counsel. She also clerked for Lattas and Lattas Law, where she received extensive experience in loan modifications and bankruptcies. After law school she was an associate at two boutique firms which practiced general civil litigation, including the areas of employment, family law, commercial, landlord tenant, condominium association, bankruptcy, and foreclosure defense, until she joined Lattas, Felton and Minkus. At Lattas, Felton, and Minkus, Pamela has been able to narrow her focus on real estate to both transactional and litigation. She is able to bring all her experience in the real estate realm together and use it to assist our clients in achieving the most beneficial outcome. At Lattas, Felton, and Minkus, she is able to handle all aspects of real estate: including but not limited to, representing buyers and sellers of condominiums and single family homes, negotiating short sales on behalf of sellers, foreclosure defense litigation, landlord tenant issues and litigation, and condominium association issue and litigation. Pamela is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. She is also a Council member of the Hellenic American Leadership Council and the Hellenic Bar Association.
