Steve Felton
Steve Felton graduated from Allegheny College in 1999 with a BA in Political Science and received a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA in 2002. During his time in Law School, he clerked for an insurance defense litigation firm that specialized in asbestos litigation.
Prior to moving to Chicago, Steve Felton worked as a general practitioner in Pennsylvania. His practice in Pennsylvania focused on residential real estate transactions, family law, and estates and trusts.
He is currently licensed to practice law in the states of Pennsylvania and Illinois and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
Aaron Minkus
Aaron Minkus graduated from the DePaul University College of Law in 2008. He has been with our law office since the spring of 2007 with several years experience in completing Real Estate Transactions all over Chicagoland. Aaron has worked with some of the most active real estate attorneys in Chicago.
Aaron is our coordinator of short sale transactions and a negotiator with financial institutions. He prides himself on his customer service and making sure all phases of a transaction are organized and on time.
Born in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and currently residing in Lakeview, Aaron graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan where he was a Founding Father and Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He is a member of Jewish United Fund-Young Lawyer’s Division and the Chicago Bar Association.
George Lattas
George Lattas studied at DePaul University where he double majored in Finance and Economics as an undergraduate. He was part of the Honors Finance Cohort at the College of Commerce and graduated cum laude in 2004, where he was selected to be Commencement Speaker.
A life-long resident of Chicago’s south suburbs, George decided to pursue his legal education at DePaul University College of Law and is currently in his third year. George is dually enrolled in DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and is simultaneously pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA). He currently serves as the President of the Student Bar Association and has also served on Curriculum and Faculty Recruitment Committees.
George’s experience in real estate includes working with General Electric’s Real Estate Group as a financial analyst, where he tracked properties in the Specialized Industries portfolio. After his completing his B.S., George took a year off to work in the non-profit sector as Faculty Advisor and Associate Director of Programs for Education with the National Youth Leadership Forums on Law and Technology.
George currently lives in the south loop and will graduate with a JD/MBA in May 2008.
After graduating in May 2008 where he was the student commencement speaker, George accepted a position with Deloitte Tax. Currently, George is working in Chicago and specializing in the Multistate Tax Practice. In that capacity, George is handling complex tax compliance as well as consulting, planning and tax strategy for some of the world's largest corporations.
George P. Gelis
George Gelis graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy High School in the Spring of 2007 and has been working with us every summer since then as a paralegal and personal assistant . Born in Joliet , IL , he is currently enrolled in the University of Iowa college of business studying Finance and is planning on attending law school when he graduates. Known for his intelligence, George prides himself on his customer service and making sure that every duty assigned to him is completed with perfection in an organized and timely manner.
